The Hawaii Warriors Football Network is a proud program of Faith Acts Now, a local 501(c)(3) public charitable organization committed to making a lasting impact in the lives of underserved communities. As a program of Faith Acts Now, the Hawaii Warriors Football Network is dedicated to fostering personal growth, mentorship, and sportsmanship through the power of football, while also supporting the educational, nutritional, and social well-being of the youth we serve.

In alignment with Faith Acts Now’s core values and operational framework, the Hawaii Warriors Football Network adopts and fully adheres to all policies, procedures, and standards set forth by Faith Acts Now. FAITH ACTS NOW GIFT ACCEPTANCE POLICY

Your gifts directly support our mission to strengthen communities, uplift youth, and provide resources for education, sports, mentorship, food and nutrition, and financial literacy. It is our priority to ensure that all gifts are handled in a way that aligns with both legal requirements and the best interests of our mission. – Documents naming Faith Acts Now as trustee or requiring fiduciary duties
– Gifts that impose financial or other obligations on the organization

Restrictions on Gifts

While we are grateful for every contribution, there are certain types of gifts that Faith Acts Now cannot accept due to legal, financial, or operational considerations. Specifically, we will not accept gifts that:

– Are too difficult or costly to administer in relation to their value

2. Marketable Securities
We accept gifts of publicly traded securities, which can be transferred electronically to an account at one of our brokerage partners or delivered physically with appropriate documentation. The sale of these securities will generally occur promptly unless directed otherwise by the Board of Directors.

3. Bequests and Beneficiary Designations
Faith Acts Now is grateful for gifts made through bequests or beneficiary designations under revocable trusts, life insurance policies, commercial annuities, or retirement plans. These types of gifts provide lasting support to our mission, and we encourage thoughtful planning in this regard.


Gifts Accepted Subject to Review

Some types of gifts may require further review before acceptance to ensure that they align with our organizational goals and do not impose undue financial or operational challenges. These may include, but are not limited to:

1. Tangible Personal Property
We will review gifts of tangible personal property, such as artwork or collectibles, to determine their alignment with our mission, their marketability, and the potential carrying costs involved.

2. Life Insurance
Faith Acts Now will accept life insurance gifts where we are named both the beneficiary and the irrevocable owner of the policy. Donors must also agree to pay any future premiums due on the policy.

3. Real Estate
Gifts of real estate will undergo review to determine their suitability for the organization’s use or whether they can be readily liquidated. An initial environmental review may be conducted for non-residential properties, with further evaluations to ensure there are no significant liabilities or encumbrances.
